Delhi Development Authority (DDA) have uploaded the list of candidates whose applications has been successfully accepted under the ‘DDA Housing Scheme 2010’. Those who have applied can check there application status on the official website of DDA. To know the DDA application status visit the official site of DDA and click on the link “Applicants Of DDA 2010 Housing Scheme”.

Just enter your Application No. and hit the “GO” button. If your application has been successfully accepted by the DDA authority then a receipt will be displayed with the Applicant Name and a message that ‘Your application form has been received’ else you need to visit the DDA office to get the detail of your application status till 07 April 2011. You can take a printout of your receipt with the Print button on the screen.

Delhi Development Authority’s Housing Scheme 2011 results are to be announced very soon. All the people can check the results on the Notice Board of DDA office at Vikas Sadan, D-Block, INA, New Delhi-110023. You can also check the results either on the official website http://www.dda.org.in or in the national newspapers. The names of the owners of 16,000 flats will be announced soon, possibly in the third week of April may be between 15th to 20th April, 2011, as speculated.

At stake are 16,000 flats all over the city from 1 room tenements in Jasola and Trilokpuri to furnished 3 bedroom flats in Vasant Kunj , DDA with this scheme has come out with one of the biggest housing schemes in a long while.  Almost 70% of the flats are one-room or Janta flats . The draw will be held within a period of four months from the last date of closure of the scheme and, therefore, no interest will be paid for these four months. Money will be refunded to unsuccessful applicants at the earliest and in case the money is not refunded within four months time from the closure of the scheme, a simple interest @ 5 percent per annum will be given for the registration money. The refund will be paid through the banks only.

Who can apply?

• To apply for a flat under the DDA housing scheme 2010, you have to be a citizen of India, above 18 years of age.
• You must have an account in any bank and a permanent account number (PAN card).
• You must not own any residential flat or plot in full or in part on lease hold or free hold basis in Delhi.
• Both husband and wife can apply for flats subject to fulfillment of eligibility condition. However, if both are found to be successful only one shall be allotted the flat.
• One person can submit one application only.

How to apply

• Rs 105 - Is the cost of the form available on selected branches of ICICI, Axis, HDFC, IDBI and Central Bank, Union Bank and State Bank of India. The form can also be downloaded from the DDA website-www.dda.org.in.
• Rs 1.5 lakh - Is a registration fees to apply for a flat but for Janta one room tenement category /ORT category the registration amount has been reduced to Rs. 50,000.

Documents to be submitted

• Self attested Copy of PAN (Permanent Account Number), allotted by Income Tax Department.
• Proof of residence e.g. self attested copy of passport or identity card or election card or ration card or driving license or telephone bill or electricity bill or water bill or house tax receipt or bank pass book (page carrying name and address) or CGHS card.
• Self attested copy of bank Pass Book/ Statement of account mentioned in the application form.

FOR RESERVED CATEGORY

In addition to (A) above, persons applying under any of the reserved categories have to submit:-

• For SC/ST :- An attested copy of the original certificate from the District Magistrate/Sub Divisional Magistrate of the area concerned.
• For Physically Handicapped :- An attested copy of the original certificate issued by the Medical Board of a Govt. Hospital.
• For Ex-Serviceman :- An attested copy of Discharge Certificate from the competent authority of Ministry of Defence / Dept. of Defence.
• For War-Widow :- An attested copy of “Requisite Certificate” issued by the Ministry of Defence/Dept. of Defence.

** An applicant not submitting the requisite documents will not be considered for allotment under the Reserved Category and will be treated under the General Category.

Price Range

• One Room Flats :- There are 11, 330 one room flats range from Rs 10 lakh to 37 lakh (the costliest one bed- room flats in the scheme are located in Vasant Kunj D-6) mostly concentrated in Rohini(5183) and Dwarka(2080).
• Two Room Flats :- There are 599 two-bedroom flats in the price range of Rs 21- 37 lakh. Bulk of these flats is located in Vasant Kunj D- 6, followed by Rohini, Pitampura and Jahangirpuri with 6 two-bedroom flats in each.
• Three Room Flats :- There are 3043 three bedroom flats under the scheme with maximum number of flats located in Dwarka(947).  three bed- room flat in Vasant Kunj D- 6 comes for Rs 1.10- 1.12 crore.

** The flats located at Vasant Kunj which have been made with higher specifications will attract higher price. The cost for the new scheme flats also includes lump sum maintenance charges for exteriors and common portions. This is also the first time that flats worth more than Rs 1 crore are available in the housing scheme.

** The applicant getting the flat in the handicapped quota cannot sell his flat.

The PSU banks taken lead in announce the scheme and lower interest rate but most important issue is related to providing loan hassle free. DDA has roped in ICICI, Axis, HDFC, IDBI and Central Bank, Union Bank and State Bank of India as nodal banks for the housing scheme 2010. To apply for a flat, you can approach these banks for loans. The SBI, Bank of India and Central Bank of India has announced their DDA Housing Scheme 2010 Application (Earnest) Money loan. These days banks are in queue of reducing interest rate up to their base rate. The HDFC Bank’s base rate is minimum that is 7.50%. The HDFC, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank has not opened their rate. All other bank who are interested in 100 % finance game of DDA Housing scheme 2010 will open their rate and charges up to 5.12.2010.
