Your wait to own an affordable house in Delhi is now over.  The Delhi Development Authority (DDA), the city’s largest land owning and development agency, has come up with a new housing scheme 2010,  from 25th November. In one of its biggest ever housing schemes, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will sell around 16000 flats in different categories and classes. These DDA flats range from one BHK, Two BHK and Three BHK. The flats are located in different parts of the city, like , Motia Khan,  Mukherjee Nagar, Jasola, Narela, Vasant Kunj, Rohini and Dwarka and other residential locations for most Delhiites.

Delhi Development Authority

This is for the first time that DDA has included one room tenements in its housing scheme located in Narela, Trilokpuri and Shivaji Enclave.

As per the DDA housing scheme 2010, any citizen of India (above or of 18 years) can apply for the flat but the applicant should not own any residential flat or plot in full or in part on lease hold or free hold basis in Delhi, New Delhi, Delhi Cantonment either in his or her own name or in the name of his/her wife/husband or in the name of minor or dependent children. One person can submit only one application form. The applicant can apply only if he has a valid Pan Card and a bank account. Both husband and wife can also apply but only one will be allotted flat in case both are found successful.

DDA has included an important condition, (for the first time) which says that all allotment money should come from the bank account of the allottee and he/she should produce the certificate at the time of possession.

The registration money of Rs. 1.5 lacs will have to be deposited by the applicant. The registration amount is Rs 50000 for Janta one room tenement category /ORT category.

The cost of the application form is Rs. 105. You can download the application form the official website by entering the applicant name and press the Generate Form button, it will generate the application form with filled applicant name. DDARegistration
