How To Open Two Skype Accounts At The Same Time On One Computer?
If you have multiple Skype accounts or you share your computer with someone and want to run two Skype applications at the same time how will you do this? As we all know Skype does not allow to run two instances at a same time on one computer but you can run two Skype application from a single PC provided you have Skype version 4.0 or above.
You need to make a small change in the Skype Shortcut properties to open a second instance on a same computer but this tip works only with windows. Let me take you to the process:
Go to Computer-> C Drive –> Program Files-> Skype –> Phone
Here you will find the Skype icon, Right click on the Skype icon and send it to desktop(Create Shortcut). It will create a Skype shortcut icon on your desktop.
Right click on the Skype shortcut icon on the desktop and go to properties panel, select the Shortcut Tab. In the Target Field append “/secondary” after the written text and Click OK.
Like “C:/Program Files/ Skype/ Phone/Skype.exe” /secondary”
This is it!! Now you can click on Skype shortcut icon to two instances on a single computer at the same time.

I tried once secondary skype in my Win XP; and success!! But I cannot in Win7. Pls help me.

It does not work on WIN 7. While clicking on OK it gives the following error:
The name ‘C:\Program Files\Skype”\secondary” specified in the Target Box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct.
Pl advise.
