Ah well! Writing about Intel is a pleasure. No doubt, Intel is the best in its industry. For any company to be competitive in the market, it needs to have a solid marketing strategy besides good products. Intel comes up with great products along with an equally good strategy to market those products.
An example being the idea of marketing its i-series processors on Facebook during the festivities (in India). Remember those Intel advertisements on various pages of Facebook saying "Happy Holi" in Hindi (and many other regional languages).
Now, Intel has come up with another unique way to launch its i5-SandyBridge processor, which is the Generation-II of the i-series family of processors. Intel has planned to introduce this new and unique Facebook app, called The Museum of Me. it’s a fun app, which displays a video of the user’s Facebook profile. The video starts with introducing the user with his/her name, then moves on to another room displaying profile pics of friends with whom the user frequently interacts with. Next, the video showcases frequent words used (by the user) in status updates, videos posted by the user, music and much more. There is also a hint of animation showing various human figures in the "Museum".
Once a user has created his/her "Virtual Museum", the user has the option to share the video with other friends (potential users). But there is no option to download the video. Click here to watch a sample video. To create your own Museum, click here. We highly recommend using this app. It’ll make you feel really special.
