As the name suggest, Voice search is a speech recognition system which generates search results with voice input. Google Chrome 9 and above supports voice search extension, where you can simply install and enable the same to start with your voice search. But after installation you need to enable it explicitly.

Voice Search comes pre-loaded with the following default services: Google, Wikipedia, YouTube, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo and Wolfram|Alpha. You can also add your own user-defined search engines. It also integrates a speech input button for all websites using HTML5 search boxes, all of the default search engines’ websites, Facebook, Twitter, reddit, and GitHub. Once you enable voice input you can can start using Voice search.

You better speak loud and clear to get better results. For Example if you want to search for Flowers, just click on the microphone and say “Flowers” but if you want pictures of flowers then say “Google images flowers” and you will get the image result of flowers. It works on your instructions but with this you can give your by speaking. You can easily install the Voice Search for free. The only requirement is a microphone which helps you pass your voice input to make search.
