Solvr by – Solve Problems With Useful Ideas

How many times we are not able to solve our problem or even if we solve it with the help of others, we don’t remember how we solved it the previous time. Also most of the times we get help only from people we know. What if we can get help from people around the world as well whom we don’t know at all! SOLVR is the place we are looking for. It is a portal in which we can create our own problems and other people can add solution to the problem and from that solution further problems can be created. It functions like a tree.

Steps of Procedure for this Site

1. Enter your problem and click on “Start Button”.
2. A new and unique page will be created for you and a URL will be provided.
3. Send this URL to others and get started.
4. When the problem doesn’t have any solution, it will be displayed in red color with the option of “add idea” provided underneath it and the tree keeps on building.
5. When a solution to the problem is provided then it will turn green.
6. When a particular solution or problem is not needed, delete the problem.

Solvr is a group problem solving tool which allows a group of people to collaboratively discuss the problems and share their ideas. It provides a platform for the people to share their thoughts or problems and invite other people add their ideas on how to solve the problem. Every suggestion is added as a branch to the tree and people can vote on it or add their own suggestion which again gets added as a branch. It is an online tool for decision making. In this we can invite as many people as we like by sending the URL of the problem. We can also take print out of the discussion and keep it with us for future use. In this no login or registration is required.

Solvr is a good tool for discussing our problems with many people. But the problem with this is that there is no security regarding people who can participate in the discussion. If anyone knows the URL of the problem then he/she can add anything or even delete the ideas.

  2. Hi, thanks for reviewing us. We are working on a better access rights management to distinguish between read/write and read-only access. If there are other features you miss, just tell us.
